Our Vision
The National Investigation Officers’ Group (or NIOG for short) has been set up in order to offer all investigators a safe forum in which to ask and answer questions, share best practice and, frankly, have a bit of a moan. All professionals are welcome and all we ask is that you are respectful and lawful in what you post.

Membership Benefits
Members have access to the following benefits :
- There is currently no charge for personal membership
- There are at least six online miniconferences each year, which are included in your membership benefits
- Members can access the NIOG CPD scheme
- There is an annual face-to-face conference
- There is a directory of members, allowing you to find colleagues in different disciplines ar geographic areas
- There are forums for you to ask questions or start discussions
- Members can post job adverts or ‘looking for work’ notes free of charge on the Jobs page of the forum

About NIOG
WhoDunnit? Full details of the steering group are available on the ‘WhoDunnit’ option in the members’ directory tab on the main menu. The group includes public, private and charitable sector, local and central government and all areas of investigation. Data Security All user data is held on a secure server and is ONLY USED TO ADMINISTER THE SITE. It will not be shared with anyone else under any circumstances, unless we are required to by law. For the purposes of data protection, the site is currently part of the Purple Training web-presence and falls within Purple Training’s DPA registration.
